Post Delay

I am currently preparing to move, so my projects are a little delayed at the moment. I hope to have some new ones up for June! Here is one of my designs for my exit exam from LaSalle College. The thematic was creating a glamorous street performer's costume. I chose to create designs based on the idea of Faery Glamour because it is a subject I am very familiar with.

This is an altar cloth I made for a custom order. It is made with a very fluid satin fabric. The cloth is edged with bias tape and decorated with tassels at the four corners.

Here is a display I created for Ostara. It is a time of new beginnings, abundance, and fertility, so I included items which work with those energies.

Cirque De La Mode: Romantic Orange

This monochrome project combined influences from various eras before 1910 with the fun and playful energy of the circus. This particular piece was inspired by the Romantic Era.

Recycled Architectural Blueprints

I participated in a contest to promote the use of recycled materials. This is a paper mache dress made with blueprints for a building in downtown Montreal. It tied for second place.

Tailored Jacket Project

The tailored jacket project taught me about the structural integrity of garments as well as how to manage traditional styles and fabrics with original design.

Radio City Rockettes as Marilyn Monroe

Two silhouettes showing concepts for the LaSalle College dance project. Our thematic was to design dance costumes for New York's Radio City Rockettes in the persona of Marilyn Monroe.

Celebrating 400 Years of Quebec: Chief of Habitation Completed
